Privacy & Cookies
Last updated: October 13, 2026. Honey, Be Honest (honeybehonest.com) is operated by Jennifer Fowler, who publishes as Honey. This page explains the information used to run this website and the choices available to you.
Information you choose to share
When you comment, subscribe, or send a message, WordPress.com processes the information you enter, such as your name, email address, and message. We use it to display and moderate comments, deliver the updates you requested, or respond to you. Comments and the name you choose to display may be public. Messages sent through the contact form below are not published as comments. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information.
WordPress.com and site statistics
WordPress.com hosts HBH and provides features including comments, subscriptions, site statistics, and spam protection. Its operator, Automattic, processes technical and usage information to provide those services, including IP addresses, browser and device information, referring pages, and interactions with the site. Read Automattic’s notice for visitors and cookie policy for the details of its processing.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which articles people read and how the website performs. It can collect page views, referring sources, browser and device information, approximate location, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling, using cookies and other identifiers. We use these reports to improve the site. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy.
Affiliate links and other websites
Some links are affiliate or referral links. When you follow one, the destination company may use cookies or other tracking to attribute a visit or purchase and apply its own privacy policy. For example, see Amazon’s Privacy Notice. Purchases are handled by the merchant. Read our Referral Disclosure for how HBH may earn a commission.
Pages may also contain embedded content or images served by another provider. When that content loads or you interact with it, the provider can receive information such as your IP address, browser information, and the referring page. External sites and services have their own privacy practices.
Cookies and your choices
Cookies and similar technologies support site functions, preferences, statistics, and referral attribution. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, although some features may work differently. Google offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers; it does not stop other services from collecting information. WordPress.com explains additional choices in its tracking and opt-out guide.
You can stop subscription emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages. Following an affiliate link or subscribing is optional.
Access, retention, and privacy requests
Information is handled through the providers used to host the site, deliver subscriptions, measure usage, and process messages. These providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Comments and messages may remain in WordPress records until removed; providers also apply their own retention and backup practices.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your interactions with HBH, use the form below. Describe the request and the email address or comment it concerns. We may need to verify that the request is yours. What can be provided or removed depends on the information we hold, the provider’s tools, and applicable retention requirements.
We will update this page when our practices change. The date above identifies the latest update.
