eufy E340 vs Blink: where do the clips actually go?
The E340 has built-in storage. For a first-time buyer, that is a cleaner shopping list. Its second camera also gives you a separate view toward packages rather than asking one camera view to do every job.
Blink can also save supported motion clips without a subscription, but the linked Core bundle does not include local recording. Add the cost of a storage-capable hub and removable storage before comparing it with eufy. If you already own the necessary Blink equipment, the calculation changes.
Built-in storage has its own tradeoff: the device holding the clips is outside. Think about what you would want to happen if it were damaged or removed. If keeping footage on an indoor base matters, investigate a compatible HomeBase setup and include that cost. “Local” tells you where video is stored; it is not a complete privacy or resilience guarantee.
Batteries and Alexa are preferences, not automatic winners
