Somewhere there is a receipt, an old email address, and a free trial that quietly became a permanent member of the household. Before you click Subscribe again, let’s find out who has your card.
Choose where you want to manage the subscription
Prime Video Channels can be convenient when you want eligible add-on content inside Prime Video and subscriptions managed through Amazon. Going directly to a provider can make more sense when its own bundle, annual offer, or app features are the reason you are joining. Compare the actual plan and billing route, not just the logo.

Direct: the provider bills a subscription bought on its own website.

Same show does not always mean the same subscription
An Amazon channel subscription and a subscription bought from the provider are not automatically interchangeable. Owning the app icon on your phone is not proof that a paid account is attached to it.
The five-minute duplicate-bill hunt
Search your email for the service name and its receipts. Check Amazon’s subscription settings, the provider’s account page, and any app-store subscriptions you use. Match the billed amount and renewal date to your statement. If two subscriptions overlap, confirm which account has the access you want before canceling the duplicate.
Are Prime Video Channels free with Prime?
No. Add-on subscriptions have additional charges. Some offers have trials or introductory prices, but the ongoing channel price is separate from included Prime viewing. Rentals and purchases are separate transactions too. One familiar screen can contain several different ways to charge you.
How do I cancel a channel bought through Amazon?
Use the Amazon or Prime Video account that bought it. In the subscription management area, locate the channel and follow its cancellation steps. Check the confirmation and the displayed end date. A subscription bought through a different biller must be managed through that biller’s process. Deleting an app does not cancel the charge.
Which route is cheaper?
There is no single price comparison for every channel. Compare the same service, tier, ads, billing period and features at checkout. Include the regular renewal price after any promotion. A lower first month is not necessarily a cheaper year, and an annual deal is only useful if you want that much time.
